There’s a lot of excitement surrounding Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie, “Jawan.” The trailer has really got people looking forward to it. The good news is that you can already book your tickets in advance, and they’re selling like crazy!
According to data from Sacnilk, “Jawan” has already sold a whopping 432,035 tickets for the regular Hindi version and 10,464 tickets for the Hindi IMAX version. Plus, there are 11,764 tickets sold for the Tamil version and 6,305 for the Telugu version. In total, “Jawan” has sold 460,568 advance tickets for its first day in theaters. That’s a lot!
Based on these impressive numbers, “Jawan” is aiming to break the record for the highest opening day collection set by “Pathaan,” which made a whopping Rs 57 crore on its first day in India. “Pathaan” also holds the title of India’s highest-grossing movie, with a total collection of Rs 543 crore.
After “Pathaan,” the second-highest-grossing Hindi movie is SS Rajamouli’s epic “Baahubali 2,” which earned Rs 510 crore. Right behind it is “Gadar 2” with Rs 493 crore. “Jawan” has its sights set on surpassing “Gadar 2” and might even give “Pathaan” a run for its money in the long run.
