Har Ghar Tiranga Independence day 2023

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the ‘Every Home, One Flag’ drive by unfurling the National Emblem at Gorakhnath temple in Gorakhpur. After capturing a selfie with the flag, Mr. Adityanath urged citizens to partake in the initiative marking the 77th Independence Day. Additionally, the Chief Minister holds the position of the head priest at Gorakhnath Temple.

The government of Uttar Pradesh intends to raise the National Flag on residential and non-residential structures, both public and private offices, as well as institutions. Similar to last year’s effort that saw 45 million flags displayed throughout the State. Additionally, Mr. Adityanath modified his social media profile images to feature the Tricolour. On Sunday, basic and secondary schools in the State commenced ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ activities, including provisions for mid-day meals.

Multiple Events on Happy Independence Day 2023

In a week-long series of events to commemorate Independence Day, the State government has planned various activities. On August 13, in conjunction with the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative, there will be quiet marches throughout all districts, marking Partition Day on August 14. These processions aim to remember the tragic partition of India and honor the victims of the violence during that era. Furthermore, as part of the ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ program, symbolic earthen lamps will be illuminated as a tribute to the courageous sacrifices made by our soldiers. The government also intends to recognize the families of freedom fighters, military personnel, Central police force, and police department members who sacrificed their lives. The districts will witness honors bestowed upon them, accompanied by poetic gatherings like Kavi Sammelans and Mushairas.
